Media definitions

       Convergence­­­
Media convergence is the joining, or ''converging,'' of distinct technologies into one – watching TV, playing games, taking photos all on one device a smartphone.

       Brand image
The image a company constructs for itself through the use of logos, slogans and other marketing tools in order to appeal to an audience so that they can remain loyal to it.

       Franchise
A media franchise is a collection of related media

       Loyalty
Brand loyalty is partiality toward one particular business or product over a competitor. On social media, that loyal customer is more likely to comment, share, follow or post user-generated content to your brand's profile over another.


       Marketing
The action or business of promoting and selling products or services, including market research and advertising.

       Diversification
When media is achieved across multiple platforms – media is DIVERSIFIED. Magazine to website to social media etc.

       Globalisation
The process whereby institutions increasingly operate on a worldwide scale

       Synergy

This is when different companies work together to promote a range of related products.Two companies work together to form a product that couldn’t be achieved on its own.

  1. Have you reflected and perfected the key words here Aden? If so then you need to put your changes in the colour green font, if not then this is another piece of work that you haven't completed. Please ensure that this is improved by Tuesday 11th December.
