In the Lego Movie trailer, the use of editing is used in the British Heart Foundation section to create meaning. The use of fast-paced editing and slow-paced editing is used to show the audience the realism of the situation. For example, because the situation is one that is often uneasy to some people and the mix between the fast and slow-paced editing is to portray this.
In the lego movie poster campaign, mise-en-scene is used to create meaning in the Chris Pratt poster. He is wearing a builders outfit whilst being portrayed as the hero in the movie. This is a counter type of a typical hero as they are usually portrayed as the wealthier people or more sophisticated people but a builder is usually portrayed as the opposite. This shows the audience that anyone can be a hero and it does not just have to be someone wealthy.
